Originating in France, calendula oil ( Calendula Officinalis ) is obtained by infusing the flowers in a base oil. Yellow to amber in color and with a sweet, slightly spicy aroma, it has a light texture and is easily absorbed by the skin.

Recognized for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, it's ideal for relieving irritation, redness, and minor skin injuries. Widely used in cosmetics, it can be incorporated into creams, ointments, salves, and as a base for essential oils.
